Fangirl Friday: FKA Twigs

This week’s Fangirl Friday is the up and coming British songstress, Tahliah Barnett better known as FKA Twigs.  Twigs self released her first music debut, EP1 on December 4. 2012.  She released her first single “Water me” on YouTube a year later.  That same month she was named the UK’s best example of ethereal. twisted R&B, in The Guardian’s New Band of The Day feature.  Her music since then has gained a lot of exposure. 

Her music isn’t the only thing that sets her apart. Her sense of style is uniquely her own. Described as “Music’s new fashion darling” Twigs has taken the world of fashion by storm.  Her fearlessness, poise, and uncanny ability to piece together outfits has solidified her as a style icon. 

As if all of those accomplishments weren’t enough she’s also dating everyone’s favorite sparkling vampire, Robert Pattinson. The two have been together for four months and are insanely happy; it seems love is in the air.
