Ok so if any of you guys watched the Emmy’s this past Sunday you saw the infamous red carpet entrance. As I was watching all the celebrities waltz in I saw so many gorgeous outfits and also some not so great fashion as well. So I am here to tell you the “Do’s” and “Don’t’s” of this year’s Emmy’s.

Zoey Deschanel

DO be adventurous and try to incorporate more satin into your closets.

DON’T have a slit this high. Showing some leg is perfectly ok, however showing this much leg can give people the wrong impression.

 Julianne Hough

DO rock the beach waves in your hair even if it isn’t summer anymore.

DON’T go too crazy with this see-through trend.

Carrie Underwood

DO know what colors you look good in and rock it.

DON’T look like you are going to prom if you aren’t.  Slim dresses make you come off more mature, whereas puffy dresses come off as being much younger than you might actually be.

January Jones

DO learn how to wear lace and not look like your grandmother’s curtains.

DON’T let nude colors completely wash you out. So try to integrate a bold color somewhere in your outfit.

So as you can see there are some fashion lessons we can learn from watching pretty much any red carpet. Overall, the Emmy’s were completely fabulous, and full of incredible fashion lessons!
