Let’s give it up for this week’s campus cutie. Jared Bolton is a first year sophomore at USFSP majoring in psychology. Learn more about your campus cutie from his interview with Her Campus.
Her Campus: Where is your hometown?
Jared Bolton: Orlando
HC: How tall are you?
JB: 6’
HC: Single or Taken?
JB: I have someone so I’m gonna go with taken, but nothing is official yet.
HC: What do you like to do in your free time?
JB: I love to go to the beach and longboard in my free time, pretty much anything to relax.
HC: What’s your favorite color?
JB: I love maroon and black. On almost any given day I will be wearing maroon or black in some way. I’m literally wearing it right now as I answer these questions.
HC: Why did you choose USFSP?
JB: I love our beautiful location on the waterfront and tight knit community.
HC: Favorite thing about the USFSP campus?
JB: I love the idea of being able to make a direct impact on not only where I live but also where I work and learn; getting involved on our campus lets me do exactly that.
HC: What would you change about campus?
JB: I would love to grow our campus, adding more residence halls and expanding into the city, because although I love the small community I also love having a lot of people around.
HC: How are you involved on campus?
JB: I am currently director of special events in Harborside Activities Board, marketing chair for Residence Hall Association, a navigator tour guide and orientation leader.
HC: What do you hope to do with your major after graduation?
JB: After undergrad I plan on attending grad school and then going on to be an industrial psychologist. After that I hope to have my own private practice for LGBT counseling and therapy.
HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
JB: In 10 years I will be either married or close to it, with a steady job that I love helping people and possibly children.
HC: Number one thing on your bucket list.
JB: Be happy.
HC: One word that describes you.
JB: Even-tempered or laid back for sure.
