Campus Celebrity: Taylor Singleton

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USFSP chapter.

You may know her as an Orientation Leader, but this Disney fanatic is one of USFSP’s jewels by the bay. This week’s Campus Celebrity, Taylor Singleton, is even more amazing than you may have thought. With multiple involvements on campus, Taylor is a well deserved celebrity. Read below to understand why!

What’s your major and age?

I am a 19 year old Sophomore Biology Major with a minor in Art History. What do you plan to do with your degree?

I plan on teaching high school biology as a graduate assistant to pursue my passion in Animal Sciences. When did you realize that your major was right for you?

I am currently taking Vertebrate Biodiversity and I couldn’t enjoy it more! It really goes into depth about animal phylum and uncovers unusual creatures that I would love to give facts about. When do you graduate?

May 2018 Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

In ten years hopefully I am married to a 6ft 2 inch 200 pound man, have a few lovely children, have been well traveled (especially to India, Egypt, and the ruins of Ancient Greece), and am the owner of a Big Cat Sanctuary! What are you involved in on campus?

I am the President of the Residence Hall Association, the President of Disney and the Bulls, a Compass Peer Coach, and an Orientation Leader. What made you choose USFSP?

I chose USFSP for the small, personal atmosphere. I always thought I was a big University girl but being here at USFSP I have realized how much I value intimate relationships. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else! What is your favorite thing about being a student at USFSP?

My favorite part of being a student here is getting to know the factually, staff, and professors. They serve as a source of wisdom and awesome resource.
