Big Sean takes over the USF Sun Dome

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USFSP chapter.

Students flooded the gates at the USF Sun Dome Friday night to see Big Sean perform at the Homecoming After Party.

Big Sean is most famous for his songs Dance (a$$) and Blessings. He performed these songs along with other hits, resulting in a show to remember for the USF community. He managed to get the crowd going with minimal breaks between songs and acts and arrived on time. In 2013, homecoming artist, Wiz Khalifa, kept students waiting for an hour and a half before coming onto stage.

Unlike years past, this year’s homecoming was held in an indoor venue and tickets were mandatory. Previous homecoming events were open to the public. Holding this event in the Sun Dome proved to be a success as students were able to enjoy the show without any overcrowding.

Big Sean followed the Homecoming Carnival and Running of the Bulls parade. USF students from all three campuses came together for this event.

Come out to Raymond James Stadium today to see the Bulls take on Syracuse. Go Bulls \m/

Hey world! Jade is the name and I am currently a Junior at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. I am only two classes away from finishing up my major, Mass Communications. I am joining the U.S. Navy after college along with my husband. I have two dogs who are basically my whole life. I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale so, naturally, I love the ocean. Going to the beach, working on boats, and laying in the sun are my favorite pastimes.
Alana is a college Senior with a major in Mass Communications with a concentration in Journalism and Media Studies and a minor in Art History. Alana was born in raised in Southwest Florida, so she adores the water and beach lifestyle. She loves anything to do with fashion and plans to work as a professional fashion writer or PR professional when she gets out of college. Alana looks forward to writing for the University of South Florida St. Petersburg's chapter of Her Campus all four years of her upcoming college career and is currently a Campus Correspondent and Editor-in-Chief for her chapter. When she's not running to and from classes, she loves to go online shopping or watching YouTube videos.
