Halloween is coming up fast! If you’re like me, you’ve procrastinated until the last minute, and now it’s crunch time. Don’t worry – there are plenty of easy costumes that use really simple pieces that you probably already own or can easily go out and buy without breaking the bank!

A simple yellow dress and a green hat or headband will instantly make you a pineapple. If you’re searching for this combo, head over to Forever 21 to find their yellow “Stretch Knit Bodycon Dress” for only $7.90 and green baseball cap also for $7.90!

The easiest costume ever- the classic witch. Get out your LBD and over the knee boots! The only thing you’ll need is the hat, which is pretty much everywhere around this time of year.

A pun that you can easily create for a costume is having “a chip on your shoulder”. Simply wear whatever you want and tape a bag of chips on your shoulder – funny and easy!

Sandy from Grease is an absolute classic costume, especially because there are two very different options. A black crop top, black leggings/pants and red pumps will give you her badass look at the end of the movie. Alternatively, her classic look can be achieved with any colored midi skirt, converse, and a plain top!

Some great Disney throwback costumes are Lizzie McGuire and Kim Possible. For Lizzie, you could copy any one of her outfits, but the most iconic is her denim on denim look. Try pairing a jean jacket with similar colored jeans, a bright colored top, and jelly shoes! To master Kim Possible’s only outfit in the show, throw on some green cargo pants, a black crop top, gloves and a belt.

Don’t forget the classic costume that will be sure to make a statement – Rosie the Riveter! Grab your favorite denim jeans and denim shirt. Throw a red bandana on your head and apply 1940’s pin-up makeup- winged eyeliner and red lips! Use the original poster as your inspiration for this costume.

The coziest costume of them all – a big kid! Wear your favorite pajamas or onesie and break out your childhood stuffed animal. You’ll be comfy all night and can crash right when you get home!

If you and your bestie are planning on dressing up together, Tweedledee and Tweedledum is a great pair to copy! Simply wear a plain red skirt, yellow top and a light blue bow tie. Even celebs do it, like Snookie and her pal JWoww!

Blair and Serena can also give you some inspiration for a bestie-themed costume. Simply wear a black or plaid skirt with a white button down and black tie to copy their Constance uniforms from the first few seasons of the show! If you’re the Blair of the pair, be sure to wear her signature headband!

Remember that Halloween is for having fun, dressing up and celebrating! Don’t forget that when you are choosing a costume. Be aware of how your costume can reflect upon others and remain courteous of that! Have fun, be safe, and enjoy the candy!
