Congratulations collegiettes™! Summer is on its way! You’ve made it through another year, which means it’s time to break out the shorts, sandals, sunglasses and swimsuits. That also means it’s time to start prepping your skin so that it looks its best and stays healthy all summer long. Below is a list of all the products you’ll need this summer to keep you looking radiant and feeling great.

Face

St. Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub is probably one of the most popular exfoliating products on the market. It scrubs deep down to get rid of blackheads and clear up blemishes. It smells great and is made with three all-natural key ingredients: apricots, corn kernel meal and walnuts. The company recently redesigned their packaging and expanded their product line by developing sensitive skin, fresh skin, naturally clear, timeless skin and dry skin relief formulations. You can pick up this product at any local drug store.

I’ve been taught by  my mother from a very young age that the key to retaining youthful-looking skin is to moisturize. I’v sworn by Aveeno products for years and will definitely continue to do so. What I love so much about the Active Naturals Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer is that it’s so lightweight. It’s prefect for the summer when you don’t want to have a lot of products on your face because it contains SPF and keeps you protected without a heavy or greasy feel. You can find this product at most drugstores.

Body

Victoria’s Secret PINK Spring Break 2-in-1 Wash & Scrub is one of the best products I managed to get my hands on over spring break. I have the Passionfruit Hibiscus-scented one, but it also comes in Jasmine Lime and Coconut Mango. Corresponding lotions, bronzers and body sprays are also sold with the scrubs and make great gifts. This body scrub leaves your skin feeling smooth and refreshed. Although it is on the pricier side, it works wonders.

If you have tattoos like I do, but still want to catch some sun without risking fading them, check out Coppertone Tattoo Guard Sunscreen Lotion. It’s a broad spectrum suncreen with SPF50. It works for larger areas and also helps to moisturize your skin. It’s for sale for about $5 dollars at WalMart and other retailers.

Legs

I just bough this shave cream from EOS and was shocked at how great it was. I was familiar with EOS lipbalm and the sleek, innovative packaging, so when I saw that they also made shave cream, I was really excited. The dispenser only lets out a small amount of product and goes on in a smooth layer. It’s moisturizing, smells great and leaves your legs feeling silky smooth. It comes in four different scents: Pomegranate Raspberry, Vanilla Bliss, Lavender Jasmine and a fragance-free, senstive skin formula.  It’s also available at WalMart for about $4.

Finding the perfect shaving cream is only half the battle. You need to find great razors that are the perfect complement in order to walk away with sexy smooth skin. I love Gillette Venus Razors for Sensitive Skin, but there are so many different ones to choose from. After spending a few minutes choosing your preferences on their website, you’ll definitely be able to find your perfect fit.
