Responding to a high number of traffic accidents and pedestrians being hit by vehicles, USF positions a traffic guard during one high-traffic area- the crosswalk on Leroy Collins Boulevard. USF has more students enrolled than ever, at almost 48,000. Parking has been a major issue and crosswalks clogged with pedestrians clog up traffic.
