Tuesday nights are better with TV! Girls and guys alike are obsessed with the hit ABC FamilyTV show Pretty Little Liars. Based on the bestselling book by Sara Shepard, the show follows five high-school girls, Alison, Hanna, Emily, Aria and Spencer, dealing with a lot more than just typical teenage drama. When the queen bee of Rosewood High School, Alison (Ali), is killed the summer before sophomore year, the girls are left to solve the mystery behind her murder. On top of trying to figure out what happened to Alison, they are being harassed by an unknown enemy who sends them threatening notes signed as “A”. Is “A” Alison? Even after her body was found, the girls continuously question if she is really dead.

The amount of time Hanna, Emily, Aria, and Spencer put into trying to connect all the pieces of Alison’s murder would make viewers believe Alison to be the sweetest girl, and all-around best friend ever. But that is not the case. Although Alison was a loyal friend with a charismatic personality, Alison could also be cruel and malicious. She loved lies and she kept the secrets of her four friends, along with many others, to have control over them. Everyone was a piece in her game and, even after her murder, viewers are left wondering who is pulling the strings. Entering the fourth season, the girls are getting into more trouble than ever before. The normal threatening notes from “A” have gone deadly and the girls have to stay on their guard at all times. With its constant twists and turns, this show is definitely worth watching. The suspense will keep viewers on the edge of the couch and the romance will make them coming back for more.

The summer finale of Pretty Little Liars airs on Tuesday, August 27 at 8 p.m. Luckily, there are plenty of entertaining websites to cruise that cover all things pretty! Head on over to Netflix if you want to catch up on seasons one to three. Online at abcfamily.com viewers are able to watch recent previous episodes and sneak peeks of the next new episode. You can also check out the wardrobes of all the characters and other useful fashion tips. In addition, this website has songs that were aired on the show available to listen to, plus music from some of the multitalented actors. The ABC Family website is a great place to get a little fill of “PLL” before Tuesday nights.

Although there are many “PLL”-based websites, the Pretty Little Liars wiki page has interesting and informative news about the show. This website offers details about all of the characters, giving descriptions to their personalities, hobbies and love interests. Other than individual explanations of the characters, “The Boys of Rosewood”, “The Girls of Rosewood” and “The Parents” are included too. This website has it all! There are also in depth written recaps of Season 1 to the current Season 4 with information about each episode. Additionally, the wiki page has important facts about the book series the show is based on.

So even though the summer finale is next week, viewers can keep up with the Pretty Little Liars easily by going online until the next season starts in a couple of months. As for the summer finale, it will probably be filled with surprise plot twists and things that will make mouths drop open. But fans of Pretty Little Liars expect nothing less.

Be sure to check back later for the pre-episode recap prior to tonight’s finale!
