TV TUESDAY: Pretty Little Liars Halloween Special

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USF chapter.

Some “Pretty Little Liars” fans disliked the idea of a Halloween special the first year it was done. We only got one episode with no follow-up because we had to wait until the new season started. Now, fans are counting down the days because, in the past, the Halloween Specials have given us some very important clues, and, unlike past years, this episode is two hours long!

In this episode, “Grave New World,” the girls leave Rosewood and travel to the black and white town of Ravenswood on a mission to find Alison. This episode is supposed to help introduce the new spin-off series, “Ravenswood,” and also provide some answers about the biggest question fans have: Is Alison alive?

Unfortunately for Ezria lovers, it seems as though the girls may have another close run-in with Ezra. The PLL finale left us wondering how involved he is with the A Team; is he a member? Is he big A? Or is he trying to protect the girls? We are hoping he is just protecting the girls, but it doesn’t look like that will be the case.

As always, we can’t wait to see what costumes the girls put together this year and how they will tie into the storyline. The Halloween special airs Oct. 22 at 8 p.m. on ABC Family, but for now take a look at this official sneak peek.
