We all know and love the story of Peter Pan, or at least we should. C’mon who wouldn’t want to FLY to Neverland and spend time with mythical beings, indians and pirates? Quite honestly, it’s been a dream of mine ever since I first saw the movie on a VCR.

Most of you may remember this time last year Carrie Underwood was taking over live theater, and our televisions all at the same time. This year from the producers that brought you the televised event of The Sound of Music LIVE brings you Peter Pan LIVE. Get excited because this production is bound to be promising!

First of all, Peter Pan will be played by Allison Williams from hit TV Show, “Girls.”

As many of you may know Allison isn’t the first woman to be starring as Peter Pan. For all of you skeptics out there, Allison states she is the “luckiest boy girl in the world,” and she “will take care of him [Peter] as a character.”

As for the develous codfish, Captain Hook will be played by Christopher Walken.

Isn’t it amazing what makeup artists can do?

Also, from the look of the sets, Neverland looks as colorful and exotic as I’d imagined.

They’re so vibrant!

Peter Pan LIVE will premiere Thursday, Dec. 4th at 8/7c on NBC. For more information, videos, and features visit the homepage for the event, here.
