Did you miss Grey’s Anatomy last week, collegiettes™? Well you’re in luck! Before this week’s new episode, Her Campus can catch you up.

*Warning: There are spoilers from last week’s episode in this article!*

Grey’s Anatomy has been going strong for 10 seasons, each one with more twists and turns. The biggest surprise of last week’s episode was the wedding between April (Sarah Drew) and Matthew (Justin Bruening). No matter how perfect they were together, it was no match for Jackson (Jesse Williams). In a split decision, Jackson proclaimed his love for April while she was at the altar and what did April do? She chose him! I was genuinely sad for Matthew because he was such a good guy, but I love April and Jackson together. They ran off to Reno and got married in secret. So romantic! Until, they have to tell everyone else the news.

As for Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Derek (Patrick Dempsey), they just can’t seem to catch a break. Derek gets a personal call from the president of the United States, to Meredith’s disappointment. He meets for lunch with people from the White House staff who have dug into his past to make sure he can work with the president. When Derek approaches Meredith about the lunch, she gets angry, of course. Although she has some right to be angry, I’m just tired of them fighting. It seems that every time something is falling into place for them, something else is falling apart. I wonder what will happen this week.

In other news, Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) bought a house together! Although they still have a long list of problems to work through in their marriage, moving into a new house will help Arizona move on from the memories of her amputation and recovery in the old apartment.

Alex (Justin Chambers) proposed to Jo (Camilla Luddington) before the wedding in the last episode, but Jo didn’t even realize it was a proposal! But after an argument in the hallway, they put their own problems aside while Alex’s dad is on his deathbed. I’m sure this week they will work it out.

Shane (Gaius Charles) is back at the hospital after he messed up a major heart surgery on Alex’s dad. He even tried to apologize to Alex and got beat up as a result. While the rest of the hospital is indifferent to his return, Owen (Kevin McKidd) is making it difficult for him after learning Shane was sleeping with Christina. Richard (James Pickens, Jr.) even called out Owen about his vicious intentions toawrd Shane.

As for Christina (Sandra Oh), she and Meredith have finally made up. They are working on getting their friendship make to normal with slow steps. They worked together on a surgery together for the first time before everything fell apart.

When it comes to surgery, Ben (Jason George) reveals to Bailey (Chandra Wilson) that he left his surgery program in L.A. to be with her. He admitted that he loved surgery and one of the best. Now Ben is joining the other residents at the hospital.

Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) is still in shock about Jackson leaving her for April. She can’t handle working with him and contemplates leaving the hospital. But Leah (Tessa Ferrer) explains that everything that happened is Jackson’s fault and they should do something about it.

At the end of the episode, word is out that the residents have filed a claim with HR asking the hospital to follow a zero-tolerance policy for relationships between doctors and residents. Couples that are already married are excluded from the policy, but the pressure is on for others like Alex and Jo as well as April and Jackson.

Watch the preview of this week’s episode. It will premiere on ABC at 9 p.m. Thursday night. Tune in to find out what happens! Don’t worry if you aren’t up to date with the latest episodes; Netflix has every season!
