TV Tuesday: The Academy Awards

Are you ready for the Oscars, collegiettes™?

The 87th Academy Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, Feb. 22. The Oscars will honor the best films of 2014, hosted by actor, Neil Patrick Harris.

Whether you are excited to see gorgeous gowns on the red carpet or find out which film won Best Picture, you won’t regret turning on your TV. Grab a few of your girlfriends and that leftover Valentine’s Day candy and be ready by 5:30 p.m. 

A few notable moments from last year’s Oscars ceremony include:

– Jennifer Lawrence tripping up the stairs on the way to accept her award (reminding us yet again that she is human and awesome and we should just be best friends already).

– Lupita Nyong’o slaying in a beautiful blue dress.

– Ellen DeGeneres breaking Twitter with the greatest selfie of all time.
