Top 5 Budget Makeup Brands

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

Collegiettes know that looking good on a budget is tough, and a trip into Sephora can be miserable when your wallet is on the skinny side. But fear not, these brands will have you looking fierce without breaking the bank!

5. Up & Up

Who would’ve thought that Target’s generic makeup brushes were going to be amazing as well as inexpensive? Certainly not me, but they’re really fantastic, especially for the price. Plus, who could resist a trip to Target?

4. Wet N Wild

Wet N’ Wild seems to get scoffed at a lot (maybe it’s the name?), but I take soft, pigmented eyeshadows very seriously. Their Color Icon eyeshadow singles are around a dollar each, with the eight shadow palettes hovering around five dollars. Wet N Wild has an entire line of great makeup, but for me, the Color Icon shadows knock it out of the park!

3. Maybelline

I’ve yet to try a product from this brand that I don’t love! The FitMe Foundation gives great coverage without looking cakey, the Color Tattoo shadows add glamor to any look, and I have Baby Lips Dr. Rescue in my purse at all times. Maybelline is at almost every drugstore, and have some of the best mascaras on the market!

2. NYX

NYX is the most expensive brand on the list, but is on par with your Sephora favorites. NYX has extremely high quality products- their matte lip products rival NARS, and the price is significantly lower, which is always good in my book!

1.     Eyeslipsface or e.l.f.

Honestly, the .gif says it all. E.l.f. really is the best, with their high end quality while most of their products are one, three or six dollars each, with some serious deal on sets! E.l.f. has an inexpensive version for almost every high end product you can think of! E.l.f. has dupes for MAC, NARS, and even LUSH! If you aren’t already on your way to Target to go try it, you should be.
