Let’s face it; as college students, we’re too old to go trick-or-treating. Maybe this year you don’t want to dress up in a costume, or you just simply can’t afford it. Costumes are becoming expensive these days! You may not want to completely void Halloween, but simply do not know what to do this Halloween season. This year, I just might turn on ABC Family and watch whatever movies and shows that are airing that night. However, not everyone has cable, especially if you live in a dorm. So here I came up with a list of 10 Halloween movies that you may find interesting to watch. The best part? They’re all available on Netflix, which is dorm-friendly. This is a great way to also spend time with friends and/or roomies without breaking the bank!
All you’ll need is a laptop, some popcorn or other food items, internet access and a Netflix account. Don’t worry, if you do not have Netflix, you could always sign up for a free 7-day trial. There, problem solved! Besides if you do end up keeping the service, it’s under $9.00/month. That’s pretty affordable if you ask me. So with out further ado, here is the list of my favorite Netflix Halloween movies (in no particular order). Enjoy!
1. A Haunted House (2013)
2. The Cabin in the Woods (2011)
3. Paranormal Activity 3 (2011) [Paranormal Activity also available]
4.Scream 2 (1997) [Scream 3 is also available]
5.The Possession (2012)
6.The Awakening (2011)
