Throwback Thursday: Games from the 90’s

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USF chapter.

What kept us busy as children? Maybe it was endless episodes of the Rugrats, or snacking on delicious Dunkaroos, or playing Skip-It out in the driveway, or maybe it was the insanely fun board games that we have forgotten about as we enter adulthood.

As I came across my old raggedy edition of Elefun, I began reminiscing on all the childhood board games I once played that children these days are clueless about because they have their eyes glued to their Ipads. Do you remember these great games, collegiettes™?

Elefun – The objective was to catch as many butterflies with your net as you possibly could while they were fluttering out of the motorized elephants trunk.

Perfection – The object of the game was to plug the holes with the correctly shaped object before the timer ran out or the board would explode.

Mall Madness – Shopping without going to an actual mall and spending real money, but still has the same affect for you a girl.

Gator Golf – The goal was to simply hit the golf balls into the gator’s mouth. First player to hit four in won.

What is your favorite childhood game, collegiettes™? Next time you take a study break, pop out an old board and have some fun.
