My fellow 90s kids, have any of you recently thought about how much TV has changed? The other day I was flipping through the channels and I somehow got stuck on Nickelodeon and found myself reminiscing on the old shows from the 90s. I used to love Nickelodeon back in the day and all of its cheesy, yet interesting, shows. These days I feel like Nickelodeon has a smaller selection of shows because I realized that it is always broadcasting the same episodes of a particular show or two for hours on end. I feel like I sort of have an emotional connection with 90s television shows, and maybe you do too. Perhaps these younger generations won’t have that same connection because they are so caught up in this highly technological world we live in today. I might be wrong, but that is just my opinion.
I felt that it was time to tap into the past and try to remember some of the classics. Eager to do a little research, I spent a bit of time looking up the names of some of the older shows because, quite frankly, I couldn’t remember what they all were called. I developed a list of some of the popular ones (and favorites of mine) with hopes that it may put a smile on your face as you too reminisce on them and possibly any other of your favorites that I do not mention. Maybe this will inspire younger generations to also check them out and see what Nickelodeon was about back then. Enjoy!
