Hey collegiettes™, hope you’re having a great Valentine’s Day!

Many of you are probably spending the day with that special someone. Whether you are going on a date or riding a canoe down the moonlit river, this Valentine’s Day will hopefully be a day to remember.

Since it’s Spirit Saturday, here’s a reminder about an upcoming Farmer’s Market being held on campus from 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on February 17th in Sessums Mall near Pollo Tropical. Whether or not your Valentine’s Day is successful, this is a great opportunity to get out and enjoy the fresh air between classes, maybe even with your new special someone!

This will be the third Farmer’s Market held this year.  Though there are four more this year, you won’t want to wait any longer to check this out if you are serious about your fresh fruits and veggies.

The Farmer’s Market is being put on by an organization named F.A.R.M, or Food Activists Revolutionizing Meals, to celebrate our local farmers.  Bring your cash and reusable bags so you can to collect all sorts of produce, honey, nuts, jams, seedlings and much more! You will even get a chance to meet some of the farmers personally. Plus, by purchasing just one item, you are participating in the advancement of the produce brought to you by local farmers in the Tampa Bay area.  See you there, collegiettes™!
