The supplies you need for this project are minimal and cheap. Visit your local craft store to find these materials.
Lastly, these glamorous vases would make an awesome addition to your apartment or dorm. You could even use them to store drinks when tailgating at football games. Everyone will wonder where you got them and once they find out you actually made them, they may feel inspired to create some of their own.
