Pinterest is the newest social media website that came out and is gaining interest across the nation. Pinterest is a site that allows users to “pin” images to an interactive online board. There are many different popular boards on the site including: architecture, food, DIY projects , tips, and fashion. Most “pins” direct users back to blogs where the image is originally posted.
I have various boards on my account. I love following new blogs about food, tips and beautiful scenery. College students are always looking to save money but also college students need to eat properly. I have a roommate that eats Mac and cheese along with other types of pasta every day. There are blogs that show a variety of simple meals and each one looks more delicious than the next. My favorite thing to find is tips on cleaning. Not only are there cheap ways of cleaning hard stains but also fun ways. Pinterest is inspirational with each pin submitted by users.
The photo above is the new trend of crayon art. You super glue crayons on a canvas and take a hair dryer and heat the crayons. Pinterest has many different ideas for it. I find it so creative and I can’t wait to try it out.
