One Direction’s New Single for Charity

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USF chapter.

The boys of One Direction have teamed up with British charity Comic Relief by recording a single for the charity’s Red Nose Day. The boys recorded a mash-up of Blondie’s “One Way of Another” and The Undertones “Teenage Kicks” that resulted in a fusion of upbeat, harmonious magic that reflects all things loveable about boy bands, aside from the perfectly coiffed hair and impeccable clothing, and the song couldn’t have come at a better time as it’s the perfect song to blast during spring break.

Since the singles release the song has reached the number one spot on the iTunes charts in 63 countries worldwide, and these British-Irish boy wonders aren’t stopping their charity work at just recording a single, as they chose to make a homemade music video to accompany the song, and they opted to donate whatever money it would have took to make the video to Comic Relief instead. Check out One Direction’s official music video for “One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks)” right here.
