So it’s that time of year when school starts to become stressful and the work seems never ending and spring break seems so far away that it just may never arrive. Right? Well no need to stress any longer because we have the perfect solution to help you procrastinate and put off studying for a bit longer – a list of must see TV shows that are all available on Netflix!

1. “Skins” (UK) – While the first few episodes may seem a bit shocking and unreal as you continue to watch you’ll find yourself growing attached and invested to each character. And if you’ve seen the unfortunate MTV remake don’t let it deter you from this amazing series as the MTV version wasn’t able to capture the essence of the UK version.

2. “The Inbetweeners” (UK) If you’re looking for lots of laugh then this British comedic sitcom is perfect for you. The show revolves around four friends who always seem to end up in precarious situations as they try (and often fail) to navigate school and girls. The Inbetweeners also got a US remake from MTV and like Skins it wasn’t able to translate properly, so stick with the original for a good laugh.

3. “Freaks and Geeks” – If you are a fan of Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, This is 40…) then you’ll definitely want to watch Freaks and Geeks, which is a show that focuses on the trials and tribulations faced by two different groups in high school the freaks and the geeks. You’ll see a lot of familiar faces in this series like Jason Segel, Seth Rogan and James Franco if you need any additional incentives to start this show. Although the show only lasted a season, like My So-Called Life, it received many accolades and is often cited as a much watch show, so start watching!

4. “Misfits” – This brilliant UK show starts with a group of young offenders who are sentenced to community service and end up getting zapped by lighting during a freak storm. After the accident they realize that they’ve developed super powers that seem to be more of a hindrance than a gift at times. Although this show isn’t available on Netflix it didn’t seem right not to have it on the list, and as luck would have it you can watch it (without a subscription) on Hulu!

5. “Being Erica” – Ever wish that you had the chance to go back in time and fix your past mistakes and regrets? Well that’s exactly what Erica Strange has the opportunity to do when she begins to see Dr. Tom, a therapist, who has the ability to use time travel and send Erica back to relive and change events that occurred in her past. This show with its interesting and unique concept will have you hooked from the first episode as you watch Erica delve into a new regret every episode. This show deserved a mention even though it’s also not on Netflix, but have no fear because it’s also available on Hulu, and you don’t need a subscription to watch it either!

6. “Workaholics”– This show is what would happen if the characters from The Inbetweeners were older, slightly raunchier and worked at a call center. While the show is called Workaholics the main characters are anything but as they spend their days smoking weed, slacking off and getting themselves in to absurd scenarios that will have you in stitches.

7. “The Vampire Diaries” – The only thing The Vampire Diaries shares in common with Twilight is that they’re both about vampires (thank goodness). Based on a series of books by L.J. Smith this show has smoldering vampires, intense plot twists and will have you wishing you could be immortal too.

8. “Supernatural” – Love urban legends, ghosts and anything paranormal? Well then look no further than Supernatural. This show revolves around two brothers, Sam and Dean, who are hunters that track and hunt down various monsters all while driving in a badass 67 Chevy Impala blasting classic rock.

9. “Once Upon a Time” – After Snow White’s evil stepmother, the Evil Queen, casts a spell on all the fairy tale characters, to exact revenge, and they find themselves displaced into the real world in a town called Storybrooke with no recollection of their real memories or who they really are. This show is perfect for those who still love fairy tales as they develop each characters backstory in great detail and put interesting spins on the relationships and history of each character, and it will have you anticipating each new episode with eagerness.

10. “My So-Called Life” – Although only lasting one season this show maintains its status as a critically acclaimed show that many have praised for its portrayal of real life adolescent scenarios. The show depicts the life of main star Angela Chase (Claire Danes) who is trying to find herself amongst a sea of uncertainty, and did we mention that the show also stars a young Jared Leto!

11. “Arrested Development” – This comedic cult classic follows the dysfunctional Bluth family as they struggle to deal with each other and their squandered wealth. The show was cancelled in 2006 after three seasons but is being revived for a fourth season, so what better when then to watch (or rewatch) the entire series in preparation for season four that will be available directly on Netflix starting in May.
