MUSIC MONDAY: 5 Playlists You Need For Spring Break!

Get excited USF! We’re officially in the middle of Spring Break 2014!!! As exciting as that is, your plans for spring break are probably even more exciting. Whether you’re going on a cruise, going to Panama City, or just staying in town and visiting the beach for a few days, you’ll definitely need music to go along with your trip. If you’re having trouble finding a fresh playlist I’m here to tell you I’ve thought of five new playlists that can help contribute to having the best spring break ever!

The Flashbacks: When I say “flashbacks” I mean anywhere from the 80’s to the early 2000’s. A good playlist of flashback songs would include:

1. Vacation by the Go-Go’s

2. Spice Up Your Life by the Spice Girls

3. I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston

4. Walk Like An Egyptian by the Bangles

5.Baby One More Time by Britney Spears

6. Waiting for Tonight by Jennifer Lopez

Recent Radio Hits: This is anything you can find on the radio currently but you can cut out songs you might not like or add in ones that aren’t as popular anymore. An example of this playlist is:

5. Work B*tch by Britney Spears

Boy Bands Galore: You probably guessed it that this list includes any and every kind of boy band song out there. Here are some songs to get your list started:

Women Empowerment: This is the playlist you’ll want to listen to if you’re single and don’t need a man. Even if you’re in a relationship it can be a good way to feel empowered. Here are some songs to get your list started:

Now that you have some starter playlists you’ll be sure to have some great music to get you through your spring break. And who knows maybe you’ll build a great playlist to keep for yourself past spring break. Either way you’ll have some great music for your break, so be safe, listen to some music, get your tan on, and most importantly HAVE FUN!
