Year, major(s), minor(s) and hometown.
Alum of USF with a B.S. in biology. Kevin previously resided in Lanedale, PA as a child and later went to high school in Orlando, FL.

Why did you choose USF as your undergraduate university?
Being from Orlando, I didn’t want to live at home and commute to the University of Central Florida. I wanted to get the full college experience of being able to live on campus, join a fraternity, etc.

Explain some aspects that go into being a DJ.
There are many different aspects that go into DJ-ing. Playing the right type of music throughout the night is a major part. You want to be able to take the crowd on a musical journey. Some DJs simply play tracks that are popular at the moment and then mix in the next top 40 song, I don’t consider that DJ-ing at all. There are many creative ways to mux tracks together.  One of those techniques is called “word play”, what happens is I could use part of the song “Work It” by Missy Elliot and mix it into the song “Work Hard Play Hard” by Wiz Kalifa.

What are some of your favorite tracks at the moment?
There is just way to much to name as an open format DJ, but I currently enjoy Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z’s “Suit & Tie”.

What do you love most about USF?
The location, Tampa has great weather, sports teams, and a diverse nightlife.

What do you plan on doing in the future?
I plan on going to graduate school for my masters degree in science in the next year.
