Who says beauty has to be pain? Being comfortable in class doesn’t mean you have to wear workout pants and a faded “our shirt.” There are many options that allow you to feel just as comfortable without giving up a chic style.

Don’t under estimate the sun dress. You can just slip it on in the morning and enjoy the soft flowing cotton all day long. You may even hear someone say, “Why are you dressed up today?” Then you can just smile and say “Oh, it’s nothing!” There are also a wide array of options for sundresses that are flattering for all shapes and sizes of women.

The comfort of leggings is like none other.  There is a lot of controversy about how to wear leggings, whether they’re tights or pants, but when paired with a loose fitting shirt and chic jacket, leggings create a great layered look. They’re also so comfortable that it almost feels as if nothing is there! Just imagine feeling like you’re wearing a big shirt and sweats to class, but you’re actually looking chic as ever. They can also be paired with a sundress that may be a little too short for your own comfort level, but they won’t take away from the sundress appearance. Leggings are a great option for a Florida winter when it’s not too cold but you need something a little more than your summer shorts.

While heels may be the way to go for a totally chic look, if you’re going for comfort a cute pair of flats or sandals may be the way to go. There are many options for cute shoes that aren’t quite as painful to walk across campus in as your five inch pumps. When looking for flats steer clear of those with a ridged heal that with only leave you with blisters and band-aids. A simple canvas shoe like Keds or Toms are a cute option to pair with a sundress without losing style. Sandals are a great option for those that are blister prone and there are hundreds of options out there and a pair for every type of foot. Sandals are quick to slip on in the morning when you’re running late without looking sloppy.

Living in Florida, one of the best things a girl can invest in is a comfortable pair of shorts that go with anything. You can’t go wrong with a pair of kaki or jean shorts that are easily matched with your favorite colorful top. Not only is this simple outfit comfortable, but it is also a versatile chic outfit that can go from class to a casual party without losing any style points.

Looking great doesn’t mean you have you have to give up two hours in the morning to match just the right outfit, only to be uncomfortable all day from a tight shirt or skirt that constantly rubs you the wrong way. Being comfortable doesn’t mean you have to throw cute out the window and arrive in sweat pants and a baggy t-shirt. Instead you can find just the right clothes that make you comfortable, flatter your figure, and look chic.
