On September 9th, 2022, the world received the devastating news that Queen Elizabeth II, the longest reigning British monarch, had died at the age of 96. Queen Elizabeth II has ruled in the United Kingdom for 70 years. Queen Elizabeth II has always protected and guided her people to success and prosperity throughout circumstances. 

Queen Elizabeth II has ruled with Prince Phillip, who died in 2021 has shown an example of love and leadership in the United Kingdom. With their ruling they had Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward. There are a total of eight children and eight grandchildren. 

Queen Elizabeth II survived historic events such as World War II, where she eventually served as an auto mechanic, at the age of 19. She has taken the United Kingdom into financial prosperity, she continuously gave charity to those in need, she fought for racial equality, and she was the first British Monarch to speak at Congress. Queen Elizabeth II not only excelled in these deeds, she also created a world where the future can be better for our generation throughout the world. 

Queen Elizabeth II has visited over 70 cities and 50 countries in the United Kingdom. As she traveled across the world, and has created alliances and made acquaintances, she has created a footprint in the world as a leader who showed compassion, excellence, and beauty throughout her reign, and she will continue to do so throughout every generation.
