Grain and Berry: USF’s Healthy Hot Spot

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USF chapter.

Tired of the food on campus? Looking for some place healthy to eat? Well, look no further. Grain & Berry, located right of E Fowler Avenue, right next to Tijuana Flats, is open for business. The original location in Palm Harbor has expanded right next to USF. The cafe specializes in different healthy bowls and smoothies.

The bowls usually consist of a base: acai, pitaya, or kale, a grain: granola or oatmeal, and plenty of fruit toppings. While there are plenty of quick go-to options for bowls, you can also create your own bowl to be exactly how you want it. My personal choice is the Grain & Berry acai bowl.

Not only is the food delicious, but the place itself has a cute, rustic vibe. This makes it the perfect place to catch up with friends, go on a casual date, or cram for the endless homework and exams.

The goal this café has is to provide us with super food that leaves us feeling refreshed and energized to go on with our rest of the day. Acai and Pitaya bowls are loaded with antioxidants which help to protect your body cells.

Grain & Berry Café is open seven days a week, from 9 am to 9 pm.

The address for the café is 2784 E Fowler Ave, Tampa FL, in University Square.

If you are a USF student then you are in luck! If you picked up a coupon book at the start of the semester, there is a special coupon in there from Grain & Berry.
