As the end of the semester draws closer, most of us are fixated on that big thing looming in the distance: exams. For some of us, the big G word is coming up, rearing its ugly head and summoning us into the real world. With all this building up, it’s hard not to want some kind of distraction from it all, a way to de-stress.
On April 5th I’ll have my solution: Bullstock.

Bullstock is one of the two concerts each school year at USF that the Center for Student Involvement puts on (specifically, the Campus Activities Board). Bullstock tends to have a more indie/alternative/rock sound and is completely free for students, and anyone else who wants to come. Last year, CAB brought Coin, We the Kings, and X Ambassadors, and it was one of the best concerts I’ve been to.

This year, in accordance with the results from the survey they send out every year, Bullstock’s lineup includes lovelytheband, 3OH!3, and AJR. They’re also bringing rides and other novelties which was another aspect of the event that I enjoyed last year. The cutesy picture opportunities on a swing ride are basically infinite.

If you’re stressed out because the end of the semester is speeding at you, I get that. I’ve been a living, breathing ball of stress for the past couple months. If you want to forget about all of that for a few hours and have a blast listening to some awesome bands, I highly recommend Bullstock. I know it’ll be a memorable event for anyone who hasn’t been, or who has and loved it.
See you on April 5th.
