Summer is still here, but school will be here before you know it! While you have a few more weeks to gather all of your supplies and books, the search for an amazing bag starts now! Back to school doesn’t mean boring backpack, so here’s my list of crazy cute bags to bring out of the summer and into the school year.
1. 2-Way Tote:
This bag can be worn as a tote, or as a cross-body bag for your heavier days. Beyond its versitility, the best thing about this bag is that it looks like so much more than a tote bag. Find the right design, and you can rock this bag on a day out of class as a purse instead of a book bag and it won’t look out of place. This leather cotton hybrid tote from Urban Outfitters is the perfect neutral tone to match with just about anything!
2. Leather Book bag
If the classic book bag is for you, spice it up by finding it in a different material. This leather book bag is simple, will last practically forever, and you won’t have to worry about picking up the wrong bag after your group study session ends. This bag is also from Urban Outfitters, and the brown leather is a great summer and fall color.
3. Bucket Bags
The bucket bag. It’s like a giant wristlet meets the messenger bag and so boho chic. This leather bucket bag is on trend with the revival of Bohemian style seen at all of the summer music festivals, but it’s large enough to carry your school books and whatever else it is you need for class.
4. Envelope Case
This is the bag for the girl who only needs a laptop or tablet. It’s an adorable, bright color, it would make a great statement piece, and it’s wonderfully minimal. Why mess with the fuss of a laptop bag when you can carry around this cute recycled leather case?
5. The Shoulder Bag

My biggest problem with school starting is deciding on a book bag that will look good with a purse, but with these adorable bags, you won’t have to worry about that.
