Here are some fun healthy recipes to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

 

1.)   Smoothie Bowls

Smoothie bowls are all the rage right now. They have a thicker consistency than normal smoothies, kind of like ice cream, and are served in a bowl instead of a cup. You can customize it anyway you want with all different kinds of fruits, granolas and other things. The best part is probably the toppings. It can be topped with coconut shavings, more fruit, honey, granola, pretty much anything you’re in the mood for, and best of all, it’s all healthy!

 

2.)   Homemade Popsicles

Need something refreshing on a hot day? Homemade popsicles are the way to go. Forget about ice-cream, homemade popsicles are all natural and all good for you. They’re super easy to make too. Grab all your fruit and vegetable ingredients you want, stir them together, and freeze!

 

3.)   Ultimate Salad

Salads can be boring, but they don’t have to be. The ultimate salad is all of your favorite healthy foods mixed together. Salads are a healthy alternative to an unhealthy, heavy meal for lunch and dinner. They provide your daily intake of needed fruit and vegetables. It’s also super quick to make, so you’re always able to have a healthy meal instantly.

 

4.)   Fruit and Vegetable Water

Everyone knows that drinking water is good for you, but sometimes you just want something fruity. Switch out those sugary drinks with some fruit and vegetable infused water. Don’t be afraid to add some fruit and veggies to your water! They provide benefits that make drinking water more fun. It helps detox and cleanse your body of toxins a long with providing the nutritional value that come with fruit and vegetables.

5.)   Classic Green Smoothie

You can never go wrong with a classic green smoothie. These are perfect to make when you are on the go. If you’re not good at eating the required daily intake of fruit and vegetables, these smoothies are great because you can blend them together to make and instant refreshing drink while still receiving the nutrients you need.
