Collegiettes™, it’s the end of an era!
Last Wednesday, model Gisele Bündchen graced the runway one last time during São Paulo Fashion Week in Brazil. The model announced her retirement the day before via Instagram. After strutting the runway for 20 years, Bündchen stated, “it is a privilege to be doing my last fashion show by choice.”
The Brazilian model walked her last show for the brand Colcci, who she’s collaborated with in the past. Friends and family of the model were in attendance and sat front row to show their support. After the sho,w all of the models came out on the runway wearing shirts with Bündchen’s face on them for one final send off.
Bündchen’s husband, Tom Brady, who was also in attendance, took to Facebook to gush about his wife and praise her for all she’s accomplished. He ended the post with hashtag #thebestisyettocome.
The world will be waiting to see what Gisele Bündchen decides to conqueror next, but one thing is for sure: the best is yet to come.
