As hurricane season wraps up, storms off the coast of the Atlantic make their way to the Gulf Coast, stirring up dark clouds and misty rain. Once considered the lightning capital of the world, bolts of lightning can be seen zig-zagging across the sky in Tampa and over the USF campus. Students usually carry umbrellas and rain jackets, used to the daily summer showers and the temperamental weather brought by tropical storms.
