If you haven’t yet listened to Beabadoobee’s latest album, Pylon, then what are you doing?! Open your music platform right away and let Beabadoobee’s beats and lyrics take you to a place of nostalgia and yearning.

Beabadoobee (Beatrice Laus), a filipino artist from the UK, has been rising to fame as her music gains popularity. Beabadoobee released her fourth album, Pylon, on September 18, 2026. This latest album touches back to her old beginnings, such as her albums Fake it Flowers and Space Cadet. This latest album reflects how much she’s grown as an artist yet still connects to her old bedroom indie rock. On the latest album, she collaborates with icons such as Chino Moreno, Hayley Williams, Shane Moran, Brendan Yates, and many more. This new album has all the important components of an indie rock album such as sad lyrics and hard beats.

The album Pylon starts off with a similar beat to her song “Pictures of Us” on Beatopia. Then as the album progresses, the beats get more intense and the lyrics even more emotional and raw. For many fans this new album brings back nostalgia to her album Fake it Flowers, which was released back in 2019. Although Beabadoobee’s albums after 2019 have included some indie rock songs such as “California” and “10:36”, this album really ties it back to old songs such as “Care”. Not only do the beats take you back, but so do the emotional raw lyrics. On this latest album, Beabadoobee touches on emotional topics about yearning and change. A perfect album to listen to on a cold, rainy day!

Not only does the album connect to the imagery of pylons (the structures located in fields) and industrialized structures such as power lines, but so does the sound. The album combines rock hard beats along with electrical sounds, a careful strategic composition in order to make the listener feel emotional. The hard beats really encapsulate the sadness, happiness and anger that the album is trying to shine light on. Songs that really encapsulate the indie rock genre on this latest album include awesome hits such as “Sun Has Set”, “In Motion”, “Satellite”, “It’s Alright”, and “Estranged”. These amazing songs include many guitar riffs that leave you wanting more. The lyrics are so emotionally powerful and vague where you can relate to her in some way. Beabadoobee makes sure to really set the theme of her new album.

Additionally this album really reflects on the music taste that Beabadoobee has. Bea is known for loving midwest emo and indie rock bands such as Basement, Title Fight, Pavement, and many more! Beabaodobe collaborated with some of her favorite people to write a couple of her songs on this latest album. This album really represents the type of music she listened to a lot during her teenage years, a great way to circle back to her old roots. Getting to collaborate with the same bands that made her music taste and who she is now is pretty awesome!

Another factor that Beabadoobee has touched back to her indie rock genre includes her latest outfits. The latest outfits that Beabdoobe has worn really tie back in with her experimental era during her teenage years. Now Beabadoobee rocks lots of camo, stylish hats, and hardcore boots. Beabadoobee has not only become a music icon, but a fashion one, too. As the days go on, she continues to play her awesome songs on her latest album and post her daily outfits. Her unique style and sound show how she continues to grow as an artist while staying true to herself. Soon she will go on tour and continue to inspire other upcoming artists. So, what are you waiting for? Go listen to Pylon!
