Ashley Weinaug is 20-years-old and is a junior at the University of South Florida that is majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Spanish. Ashley has a very outgoing personality and a wonderful sense of humor that can be easily noticed just beyond becoming acquainted with her. She is very easy to talk to especially when the conversation involves one of her many interests that includes cats, music (The Rocket Summer, being her favorite band), concerts, shows, and tattoos. She also holds great interest in the world and traveling. She has already traveled to many places of the world and has been to every continent. Though she has seen much of the world she still has a lot more to go, with Spain, England and Australia being the locations that she wants to travel to next.
Originally from Apopka Florida, a town just outside of Orlando, Ashley decided that it would be in her best interest to depart from her home town and relocate in Tampa during her college years. She decided to attend USF because it was still close to home but not too close. Since coming to Tampa, Ashley has managed to support herself as a Mixologist (aka Bartender) while occupying a one bedroom apartment near USF with her cat.
On campus Ashley is involved with an USF organization usually pronounced as PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America). This society serves its members by supplying them with extra knowledge surrounding public relations and allowing access to professional development opportunities. Ashley is also a new writer to USF Her Campus Online Magazine. She already has several postings available for reading which have proven her exquisite and creative writing techniques and style.
As for now Ashley is truly on track. She has her mind set in the direction of success in becoming a Public Relations Professional at a record label company in either New York City or California. The way she is spending her time today in her studies and the extracurricular areas of that she is involved with, will surely enhance her chances of the life she wants to lead become possible for her.
