Being a college student, it’s important to have your daily dose of caffeine. Although I have many different options on and near my campus, I always find Dunkin Donuts my go to place. Whether it’s the morning and I’m grabbing breakfast before class, or it’s the afternoon and I’m looking for a liquid wake up call and snack, Dunkin always has a wide variety of foods and beverages.
1. Happy Hour Coffee
Happy Hour is from 3-6 p.m. at select Dunkin Donuts locations. You can get 50% off of medium and large iced coffees and teas. It is perfect for students because it’s cheap and convenient, and who doesn’t need midday coffee for those all day study grinds.
2. Better Quality Coffee
Dunkin Donuts takes their coffee very seriously. The company has two chief tasters. Their job is to make sure that “millions of cups of coffee the company serves each day taste exactly the same.” These tasters inspect around 100 cups of coffee a week. Dunkin Donuts also has coffee labs in almost every country it buys coffee from. In these labs, machines “determine the moisture content and other measurable qualities of the beans.” Needless to say, the company cares about the quality of their product and wants to enhance the customers’ experience.
3. Everything is Cheaper
Being on a college budget, purchasing coffee is something that is usually necessary, so why not make it as affordable as possible? Dunkin Donuts’ coffee is delicious AND affordable, why would you want to go anywhere else?
4. A Variety of Food Options
I don’t know about everyone else, but I love getting a little snack with my coffee. Dunkin Donuts offers so much more than just a little case with muffins and cookies. They have a range of flavored bagels, sandwiches and hot food options. Not to mention combo options so that you can get everything together with a side of hash browns. And to top if all off, Dunkin Donuts has DONUTS in every flavor, shape and size.
5. Convenient Locations
You can usually spot a Dunkin Donuts on every corner. Most locations conveniently have drive thru options in order to get your food when you’re on the run. There are four locations near my campus alone, so no matter which direction I’m heading, I can be ready for the day ahead of me.
6. Seasonal Items
Seasonal Donuts and Coffees are the best part of changing seasons. Whether it’s a pumpkin donut, or the Chips Ahoy iced coffee, there are always new items on their menu to try and fall in love with.
