There is so much to do this Halloween season at home and abroad. Fun things are available for the fear-seekers and the scary cats alike. Check out 6 fun things to do this year during Halloween below.

Visit a cemetery

If fear is what you seek, what can be scarier than visiting a cemetery?  Make sure that you are quiet while visiting. No one wants to wake the dead.

Visit a haunted house

If you are looking for a true scare this Halloween, visit a haunted house. Haunted houses are extremely popular during the Halloween season. Running from men with chainsaws, dodging mad doctors and escaping killer zombies are all guaranteed to take place. Haunted houses also serve as a unique way to bond with friends and significant others as you latch on for dear life. Visiting a haunted house may also be a lovely opportunity to help a local cause as many non-profit organizations put up these houses to raise money.

Go to a costume party

Do you have an alter ego? Going to a costume party is the perfect way to let your alter ego take over.  Dressing up as your favorite celebrity or fantasy character brings out the inner child in all of us. Costumes choices are endless as imagination sets no bounds. Dressing up with friends is a wonderful wake to make memories. Showing up as Power Rangers with your crew to a costume party will definitely have people talking for months after Halloween.

Watch a scary movie

Mingling in spooky houses or with people in costumes not your thing? Watching a scary movie may be the answer. Catching a scary flick from the comfort of your home can save money. Watching a scary movie in the theater can also score some quality time with a friend. A scary movie to look out for this Halloween is “Carrie”, a film based off the book written by the renowned and disturbed Stephen King. If watching a weird girl move things with her mind sounds creepy, this movie is a must see.

Go to a fall festival

Scary antics during Halloween are definitely not for everyone. Fall festivals are always fun and usually monster free. Friends, family and children are also all invited. Fall festivals are the right place to enjoy games, hayrides, crafts and face painting. Most of all, scrumptious funnel cakes never gets old.

Carve a Pumpkin

Halloween season is not finished without pumpkin carving.  Visit your local pumpkin patch, grab a pumpkin and let your artistic side run wild. Plenty of stencils for cool pumpkin carvings are available online. Baking leftover pumpkin seeds is also a tasty idea not to pass up.
