When we were seniors in high school we thought we were on top of the world, but then when we entered college we moved back down to the bottom of the totem pole. As we make our way through our college career we often get the feeling that we have so called “found ourselves”. However, even if we may have “found ourselves” the age of 20-something can be more confusing and complicated than those sticky middle school years.
Throughout our 20’s we realize we are technically an adult paying rent, but then not really an adult because our parents still pay our phone bill. Sometimes you get the feeling the whole world is against you, but other times there are moments where your hard work pays off and there is nothing in your way. Our 20’s are a time where we are allowed to make mistakes and laugh about them the next morning over mimosas. Our 20-somethings are also a time for us to wonder if we are simply just going crazy. So for all of us who feel that we are, “happy, confused, and lonely at the same time”, here are 31 thought that go through every 20-something’s mind.
