There’s always something to do on weekends, here at the Sunshine Coast! (And certainly Mother’s Day is no exception!)
The Body Art Carnivale just served its sixth year in Eumundi, showcasing Australia-wide artists – ranging from airbrushing, face painting to dancing, live music and the most exquisite body art you’ve ever seen! There were mermaids (as shown here) monster-like body art, eagles, fairies, trees and cute tigers, dolphins, butterflies and other types of face painting! It was a carnivale not to be missed! As it was Mother’s Day, you could book you and your mum for the Mother’s Day High Tea, held just down the road from the carnivale and see the Samba dancers strutting there stuff and showing off their dance moves on stage!
There was activities for the kids, food for everyone, nearby cafe’s and restaurants as well as plenty of other activities to get involved in! Event Manager, Danielle Taylor said she was happy with the turnout of people this year.
“I think we had a record number of people here today,” she said.                                                                                                                                                                                                “This is our sixth year running and I can’t believe how far it’s come.”
Be sure to check out the Body Art Carnivale website for more information and to ask the team about the 2014 carnivale! Happy Mother’s Day!
