Q: Favorite spot on campus?

A:  Airport lounge, Tour Guide Booth in the Union

 

Q:  What organizations are you involved in?

A:  Tour Guiding, Kappa Sigma Fraternity, IFC, Orientation Leader

 

Q:  Best professor you’ve had at URI?

A:  Professor Boyd-Colvin

 

Q:  Best class you’ve taken?

A:  KIN 390.  It’s a kinesiology seminar where different professionals come in to help you figure your life out.  Two chiropractors came in and talked, and that made up my mind.

 

Q:  Number one thing on your bucket list?

A:  Sky-diving because I like adrenaline–keeps me on my toes.

 

Q:  Celebrity crush?

A:  Emma Watson.

 

Q:  If you had to choose your last meal, what would you eat?

A: A breakfast platter with eggs, bacon, home fries, and sausage.

 

Q:  What is your dream job?

A: Chiropractor.

 

Q: Words to live by?

A: “Everything happens for a reason.”

 

Q:  Any advice for freshman? 

A:  Get involved. That’s been my favorite part of being at URI. You can grow so much from it and meet so many new people through different organizations.

 

Q:  What does it mean to you to be homecoming king:

A:  It’s rewarding knowing that I’ve left an impact at URI, and this is a confirmation of that, and it’s nice to know that my friends were very supportive of me.  Definitely a huge moment and something I’ll remember for a while.

 

Q:  Describe Brianna, your HoCo Queen, in 3 words 

A:  Determined, caring, and intelligent.

 

Q:  Most memorable moment at URI?

A:  Greek week sophomore year I was representing the Kappa Sigma fraternity in Mr. and Mr. Greek Week. I played the ukulele and sang Riptide by Vance Joy. It was the scariest moment of my life but an amazing experience, so I’m glad I did it.

A:  Student Senate Office.

A:  Student Senate, Tour Guiding, Kappa Delta sorority

A:  Dr. Jill Doerner

 

Q:  Best class you’ve taken?

A: COM208: Argumentation and Debate.  We had to debate one topic all semester based on research, and we couldn’t have notes in front of us so it helped me with public speaking.

 

Q:  Number one thing on your bucket list?

A:  To ride all the fastest roller coasters named each year.

 

Q:  Celebrity crush?

A:  Luke Bryan

 

Q:  f you had to choose your last meal, what would you eat?

A:  An everything bagel, toasted with cream cheese.

 

Q:  What is your dream job?

A: I don’t have one a specific dream job, but I want to always help people, that’s my aspiration.

 

Q:  Words to live by?

A: “Always be better than the person you were yesterday.”

 

Q: Any advice for freshman?

A:  To get out of your comfort zone, and do things that you didn’t think you could do.  It can open so many different doors for you.

 

Q:  What does it mean to you to be homecoming queen?

A:  It’s humbling to think that so many people cared that much and went out of their way to donate 50 cents to the URI students first fund to vote. Everything came full circle from orientation to senior year, and having that much support to win, showed that URI was the right choice for me.

 

Q: Describe your king, Ryan, in 3 words.

A: Leader, funny, and passionate.

 

Q:  Happiest/ most proud moment at URI? 

A:  Getting leadership positions in Student Senate and Kappa Delta.  I am Vice President of Student Senate & Vice President of Operations for Kappa Delta.
