Meet Our President: Hannah Will

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at URI chapter.

Hannah Will

President and Campus Correspondent

HC URI President. Chipotle Addict. Pink Obsessed. The Next Lauren Conrad.

Say “hello” to Hannah Will. This may be your only chance considering she’s a busy girl, so you may want to make a good first impression. Hannah is the Her Campus URI President and Co-Campus Correspondent, a PR intern, a blogger, a Communication Studies major, and a Business and Writing double minor… You see what I mean?

Hannah is a junior at URI and is on track to graduate in 2019. She is 20 years young and proudly supports her small hometown of York, Maine, one of New England’s most favored vacation spots. She hopes to move to a city after graduation. When Hannah isn’t at school you may catch her doing yoga, decorating, crafting, skiing (possibly falling down the mountain) or catching up on the latest makeup tutorials on YouTube.

Sky diving may be the first activity on most people’s bucket list, but that’s not the case for Hannah. Instead she hopes to swim with pigs on a tropical island some day. She’s not so interested in the stereotypical “swimming with the dolphins,” but would rather “swim with the cute piggies.”  With nautical pigs in her near future, she also has big dreams for herself as a successful woman. She sees herself working for a huge mass media company like Condé Nast, the company that owns Vogue, Vanity Fair, and The New York Times or for an amazing PR firm. She would also love to be a full time blogger, which sounds like the real dream, huh? I mean if you’re living by a quote like “Work hard in silence, let your success be your noise,” you have to be aspiring to be the best person you can possibly be.

She may think she’s “the next Lauren Conrad,” but I think she’s going to be the FIRST Hannah Will… Loyal, smart, organized, determined, and most importantly… Chipotle’s biggest fan.

Sadly, it’s time to say “ciao” to Hannah… Ciao because she’s probably in Italy by now, which is somewhere she hopes to travel to in the near future with her fam and beloved boyfriend, eating a bunch of Italian dishes and desserts.

P.S. I hope by reading this article, Hannah added “some flavor to your life” because she often compares herself to a lemon; a fruit that’s not too overpowering or too subtle… but just the right amount of sass and spice! ;)
