Five Lifestyle Blogs That Will Make Your Life Better

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at URI chapter.

I think we all went through that interesting phase of obsessing over the newest issues of TigerBeat or Bop. But now that I’m (much) older, I have started implementing lifestyle blogs into my daily routine as much as I check social media. There’s something quite calming about the aesthetics of lifestyle blogs in that you can just browse freely through a multitude of categories and find something that related to a question you had a week ago. This day and age, lifestyle blogs are becoming the new thing, as more and more seem to constantly be on the rise, but here are five of my go-to blogs for literally anything.

1. The Everygirl

The title says it all – this blog is for every girl in one way or another and I love the sense of unity it brings. The blog discusses career & finance, health & beauty, living, wellness and travel. So basically, they’re a resource for it all and they keep it real! Their tagline is, “The ultimate online resource for creative, career-driven women.” Yaaaasss.

2. Wit & Delight

The reason why I enjoy Wit & Delight so much is because of how real their stories are. A lot of them are things we have always thought of but felt like we could never put into words. Although I may not be able to relate to some of them directly, they’re still great reads because it’s all about women supporting women! Some of these raw articles include, ‘Lacing Up a New Perspective on Self-Love and Rediscovering me,’ or ‘The Surprising Truth About Aging I Uncovered After Turning 35.’

3. A Cup of Jo

Joanna Goddard is a genius and you’ll just have to see why for yourself. You are bound to find a new article almost every single day under style, design, food, travel, relationships and even motherhood – which may be helpful down the road. She has a very genuine connection with her blog including information about her own personal family which really makes it that much better to read.

4. The Blonde Salad

Chiara Ferrangi is an Italian fashion influencer behind The Blonde Salad. Aside from being able to shop awesome looks on her site, her magazine is complete with all one’s fashion go-tos for what’s hot and just keeping up with the trends in beauty and fashion!

5. Goop

This is a blog by Gwenyth Paltrow who I have always loved as an actress but now even more as a writer. Her lifestyle website is targeted toward natural health and includes style, beauty, food, travel, wellness, and work. The vibe of her blog is truly genuine and I learn something new from it every day.
