As college students, we have all come to the realization that coffee isn’t just a drink… it’s a lifestyle. Despite all the things that are unpredictable and unstable in our lives, coffee will never let you down. Here are a few signs that you’re in too deep, besides the fact that you’re finishing your third cup while reading this…

Coffee is the only reason you are able to get out of bed in the morning.

I mean, who doesn’t look forward to a nice hot coffee the minute you wake up?

One cup is never enough.

One…two…three cups of coffee is maybe enough to get me through the day?

You beg for an IV of coffee at least once a week.

Key word: at least.

The barista at Starbucks knows your name and order.

“Hi can I order a…” “Caramel hot latte with skim, right?”

You agree that afterall, even bad coffee is still coffee.

Hey, it still gives that caffeine fix, right?

You’ve tried to quit drinking coffee but the withdrawal headaches just weren’t worth it.

…Almost as bad as a hangover headache.

Your fam and friends know you’re not yourself till you’ve had your coffee.

Just like the saying goes “you’re not you when you’re hungry,” well I’m not me till I’ve had my coffee fix for the day.

You consider yourself immune to caffeine.

Is this thing working anymore?

The real problem with your bank account is the coffee expense.

Clothes, food, no problem.  Coffee? Problem.

You upload pics of your coffee as much as you would your own child.

Oh, so precious.

 Crest whitestrips are a must.

Because who wants yellow teeth?

You love guys that drink coffee because they really get you.

Nothing is better than identifying with someone who loves coffee as much as you.

You feel personally victimized when Dunkin Donuts messes up your order.

Like, why can’t they just be as loyal as Starbucks?!

You refer to the weather as iced and hot.

Sorry, coffee blues has got the best of me.

As you’re reading this you can literally taste coffee.

 Come to me, now.

You know tea is healthier but it’s just not the same.

…Just doesn’t live up to standards.

Espresso is your favorite form of art.

Espresso…the word just rolls off the tongue so nicely.

Still not sure what happened between that first cup and now but there’s no looking back, you’re officially hooked!
