Living on campus can be a great experience, however, without transportation, going on dates can be a challenge. On campus unique dates are my absolute favorite and I am here to let you in on my secret spots!

1. 193 Coffeehouse

The coffeehouse is a great spot day and night! The coffeehouse is located on the second floor of the Memorial Union. It’s fully of cozy couches and green plants. I love sitting down with a spiced chai latte with my significant other and talking about anything under the sun. Every other Thursday there is open mic at 7 p.m. which is also a great time for a date because it’s kind of like you’re watching a mini concert. I definitely recommend this place!

2. Botanical Center

The Botanical Center is located at the top of campus near the Fine Arts Center. The greenhouses are open sunrise to sunset. The outside garden is a great place to lay a blanket down and stare at the stars with someone. Even if you’re alone, it’s a relaxing experience that everyone should cease!

3. Tootell Aquatic Center

If you love swimming as much as my significant other and I do, going to the pool might be a date option for you! Tootell offers access to the pool for students all week. Sometimes they offer projection movies while you swim which is a lot of fun!

4. Krazy Fusion Cafe

My favorite way to end a crazy week is to grab some ramen and bubble tea with my significant other. Krazy Fusion Cafe is located in the Emporium at the top of campus. They offer Korean snacks and ramen bowls that absolutely taste amazing! I love going here during the winter because ramen warms me right up.
