While fall is soon approaching as we start another wonderful year at URI, us Rams still have the privilege of going to the beach after classes. So, before your tans fade and you bundle up in sweaters, take advantage of these beach vibes as your beauty inspo. For a makeup routine that will help you achieve that perfect beachy glow, refer to this guide for tips and tricks. Your key products include bronzer, highlighter, bronze eyeshadow and a nude gloss.

Bronzer is a great way to look sun-kissed or accentuate your tan. A bronzer with a subtle shimmer rather than a matte option will add radiance to your skin.

Highlighter helps to give your skin that dewy appearance as if you’ve spent the day in the sun. Gliding some over your cheeks and brow bones will give you class-appropriate luminous skin. This product is an awesome addition to your sun-kissed look on a warm autumn day.

To play up your eyes without looking like you’re wearing a ton of makeup, use a thin line of bronzy-gold eyeshadow on your upper and lower lids. This will make your eyes glow in a way that looks more casual than dark liner. For a more defined look, add some brown eyeliner.

Try: MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Shadow in Amber – $21

Top off the look with a nude gloss that will give your lips a subtle shine. Try a non-sticky moisturizing gloss to keep your lips soft!

Try: Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss in Almost Peach – $26

Add a couple coats of your favorite mascara and you’ll have a campus-ready look that will make people think you just came from Narragansett Beach. Have a great first week of classes ladies!
