This is that one time in the year when Colegio students feel enormously proud of their alma mater. Hundreds of them leave their books behind for one day, to support the “tarzanes & juanas” at the acclaimed Justas Interuniversitarias, wearing the emblematic UPRM colors, green and white.
After the afternoon athletes’ parade and track & field events are over, thousands of students from diverse universities around Puerto Rico go and celebrate their victories in downtown Ponce.
