February is here! It does not matter whether you celebrate Valentine’s Day or not, if you are looking for a cute romantic book to cozy up with during February, I’ve got you covered! Here are some recommendations:

You Had Me at Hola by Alexis Daria

Puerto Rican characters in a book? Give. It. To. Me. This book is the perfect combination of rom-com and soap opera. The story centers around Jasmine and Ashton, two telenovela actors. Jasmine just went through a tough breakup and now she is determined to stay single and focused on her career. Then, she meets Ashton. He’s very handsome, mysterious, and he’s keeping a secret… Will he change her mind about staying single? Or will Ashton’s secret jeopardize their relationship?

The author incorporates bilingualism, inclusive language, and tackles various subjects such as cultural identity, colorism in the industry, and the importance of consent. Also, the sex scenes are pure fire!

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

This trilogy follows Lara Jean, her not-so-secrets letters, and her past crushes. The letters confessing her love for her crushes somehow get mailed, and now Lara has to confront them. This cute, contemporary young adult romance will surely leave you smiling. If you enjoyed the Netflix movies, trust me, the books are way better. You are in for a treat!

The Worst Best Man by Mia Sosa

Lina is a wedding coordinator who gets left at the altar. To make things worse, she ends up working with her ex-fiancé’s brother – the best man from her failed wedding. If you love the enemies to lovers trope, you are absolutely going to love this book! I was hooked since the first chapter, so I guess you can tell how good the storyline is. Sosa’s writing style and sense of humor is amazing. I enjoyed how the story changed between different points of view. I can see this book adapted as a romantic comedy movie!

The Key to Everything by Paula Stokes

Have you ever heard of the term “book boyfriend”? Well, all I can say is that I found mine in this book! His name is Tyson and he is a soldier. Oakland, the main character, meets Tyson in Thailand, where she decided to travel with her best friend, Morgan. It all starts as a little hook up, but she wonders if he’s really “The One”? Or could it be Seth, her high school boyfriend who happens to be in Thailand?

With this book, I felt I was traveling with Oakland. I am sure you will enjoy the Thailand scenery, as if you were there. Some people say traveling with friends is really fun, and Oakland got the chance to travel with her bestie. The relationship with her best friend, Morgan, is so cute. You can tell they trust each other. So with this book, beside the spicy sex scenes, you will also get to enjoy a relationship between two best friends.

Happy Endings (trilogy) by Zoey Castile

In this series, you will get three steamy romances. The first book (Stripped), will take you through a relationship between an elementary school teacher and a stripper. The second book (Hired), is about a relationship between a hot escort and the daughter of a woman who’s running for mayor. In the third and final book (Flashed), you’ll get the vibe of a sexy, updated Beauty and the Beast. The third book in this series was my favorite. I love the age-gap, the sexual tension, and the Adobo obsession. I can honestly say, Zoey Castile delivered with these books!

P.S. I Like You by Kasie West

This contemporary romance is a quick read! I really enjoyed West’s writing style, and the storyline in this book is so cute. It all starts when Lily scribbles song lyrics on her desk in chemistry class, and on the next day, she sees someone continued the lyrics and left a message for her on the desk. This sparks a continuous exchange of notes and letters. Who is this mysterious pen pal? Read to find out!

That’s it! I hope you enjoy these romance book recommendations. Happy reading!
