The time has come to say goodbye to President Barack Obama after 8 years as president. Throughout his presidency, we’ve been able to get a closer look at Obama thanks to Pete Souza, who has been the official White House photographer since Obama was sworn into office on January 20, 2009. However, he has been documenting Obama’s political career since he became a senator in 2005. He also documented Obama’s campaign to the presidency, which he compiled in the photo-book The Rise of Barack Obama.
