Campus Cutie Goes International!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UPRM chapter.

Imagine leaving everything and moving to an island you’ve never seen before. This Spanish cutie left his family, the “Olé’s”, “los toreros” y “las tapas” for the “mofongo” and the Caribbean flavors of our tiny island. This “madrileño” came to Puerto Rico because he wanted to party and discover our island’s culture and beaches; but at the same time, came to study Aerospace Engineering to the most prestigious college of agriculture and mechanical arts of the Caribbean, our UPRM. You want to find out more about this International cutie? Go and check out his preferences!

Why did you choose UPRM for your exchange?

I chose it because I wanted to get in contact with a very different culture and finding new adventures in my life.

What do you like the most about our campus?

Every place on campus looks really active and everywhere I go I see the Puerto Rican joy.

Fun fact about yourself:

I love kart racing with my friends. I really miss that from Spain.

What do you miss the most from Spain?

I miss Spanish food, my brother, and watching soccer games with my friends. (In that order)

What’s your worst fear when returning to Spain?

Returning to Spain with a Puerto Rican accent. My friends would laugh at me so much, although I really like it!

Why are UPRM girls better?

They are really open-minded girls and that makes them different from the girls in Spain.
