We all have those moments where we wish we knew of products that could last long enough through the night and through the sweat of the night or of day-to-day busy routine. I’m no makeup guru, nor I’m an expert on brands, but there’s one thing I know about makeup: and it’s knowing good, long lasting makeup when I try it.

For our experiment, I’m going to be using: a) Rimmel London ScandalEyes Volume Flash Mascara on the shade of 003 Extreme Black; b) Rimmel London Scandaleyes Waterproof Long-wear eyeliner pencil on the shade of 001 Black; c) Rimmel London Provocalips 16hr Kiss proof Lip Color on the shade of 550 Play with Fire; and d) Rimmel London 10hr Waterproof Natural Bronzer on the shade of 027 Sun Dance.

Let’s start with the mascara:

The mascara worked wonders. It did made my eyelashes take volume, no clumps on the lashes,  and they looked super long. The mascara was really hard to get off with water, so I can assure you, it’ll be waterproof. I will give it a 10/10.

Eyeliner:

The eyeliner promises a lot. It really is waterproof.  I have tried many different eyeliners and they have all disappointed me. For me, it’s usually really hard to find an eyeliner that doesn’t smudge because of my teary eyes, and this one surprised me. It didn’t smudge, and when I tried to take it off with only water it stay most of it. So if you have teary eyes like me, this is the eyeliner for you. I will give it a 10/10.

Kiss Proof Lip Color:

This lipstick was HARD to take off, and when I mean hard, I mean hard. The promo says it lasts up to 16 hrs without fading or smudging off and trust me, they don’t lie. I had to take it off with Coconut Oil for the color to come off. So if you are looking for a lipstick with minimum maintenance and minimum reapplying, this is what you are looking for. I will give it a 10/10.

Bronzer:

I’ve never been one for bronzers, I just usually use blushes and that’s it. However, Rimmel Natural Bronzer, is good and it’s waterproof, but for a skin like mine (pale white/beige) I had to apply three coats to start seeing the effects of the bronzer. I tried different lighting and all but still I need three coats. I will recommend 6/10.
