We all have a great TV show that makes a difference in our life, teaches us something valuable, and affects our perception of the world. Whether you loved it as a kid or when you were a little older, doesn’t matter: what matters is the impact that it has on you. Girl Meets World is the Disney Channel series spin-off of Boy Meets World and follows the life of Cory and Topanga’s daughter Riley.  But even though Boy Meets World was first aired in 1993, it is still watched and re-running in the U.S.  Girl Meets World was first aired in 2014; fourteen years after the original series came to an end. And it is a Disney Channel series and you might think it’s only for kids, but it has some life lessons that can help all of us no matter our age.

1.      No matter how broken you are, you’re still worth it

2.      Accept yourself

3.      Hold on to the people you love, they will help you grow

4.      Never make assumptions of anybody, you dont know who is fighting a harder battle

5.     You can’t forgive anyone if you don’t forgive yourself first

6.       Even though beauty is skin deep, that is not nearly as important as the force that comes from within you

7.      Question what you believe in and why you believe in it

8.      Never give up

9.      And most importantly of all: ALWAYS be yourself
